Landscape Architecture

Landscape Architecture

As landscape architects, we are not just designers, we are story tellers.

We weave elements of culture, history, place, and community into every project.

Our Landscape Architecture team has a 20+ year track record of leading public domain and institutional projects, as well as residential, commercial, tourism and landscape & visual impact assessment (LVIA) projects. Our projects span the globe, from Melbourne to Southeast Asia, receiving multiple international awards.

We pride ourselves on going beyond aesthetics in creating places and spaces that are backed by research, promote sustainability, respect the site, and are made to last.

Consultation & Engagement

Community and stakeholder consultation is a core component of our project approach. The earlier we can engage the better – with clients, community and stakeholder we seek to build relationships and trust to enable open and meaningful discourse throughout the lifecycle of a project. Early and ongoing engagement supports self-determination and can generate a sense of ownership and pride in the project increasing its chances of success.

Masterplanning & Feasibility

Successful master planning is unique and site-specific, underpinned by technical evidence, an appreciation of place and community insight. We examine the past and engage with the present to plan for the future. We conduct research and collaborate with specialists to provide a holistic, forward-thinking and achievable vision.

Town Planning & Landscape Plans

We are effective in communicating landscape architectural design advice and provision of landscape plans, details and schedules to support development approvals. Our approach is grounded on a thorough understanding of planning policy and best-practice guidelines and informed by an appreciation for local context and character.

Expert Evidence

Our team of experts are highly respected for our integrity and knowledge. Our reputation for providing professional and effective reporting and communication is one we continue to reinforce and uphold.

Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA)

We are technical experts and recognised for providing intelligent and sound landscape and seascape visual impact assessments for projects with varying scale and complexity.

Policy & Strategy

We draw upon industry best-practice, research and the collective professional experience of our team and specialist consultants to develop innovative and impactful policies and strategies to guide the planning, design and management of cities, regions and landscapes.

Schematic Detail Design & Documentation

From an initial concept, we progress designs by site proving and preparing technical drawings, details, schedules and specifications to enable cost planning in preparation for tendering and construction. We often work in collaboration with specialist consultants and technical experts to provide innovative, cost effective and achievable design solutions.

Tendering & Contract Administration

We prepare and administer tenders and assist with the evaluation of tenders. Our contract administrative assistance pre, during and post-construction provides quality control and reassurance that the integrity of the design vision is maintained and realised.
