Hartleigh Estate, Clyde
Hartleigh Estate is a 765 lot residential estate in Clyde, a suburb on the south-eastern fringe of Melbourne. The vision for the estate is to establish a strong community that encourages an active lifestyle for the whole family within a high quality, leafy landscape setting.
Hansen Partnership was engaged by the developers, National Pacific Properties, to deliver landscape architectural design, documentation and administration for the 19 stage development, including the sales centre, two parks, two retarding basins, a drainage swale, various streetscapes and landscape design guidelines.
A unique feature and one of the key challenges of this project is the requirement to incorporate the rehabilitation of Clyde Creek. As part of our role, we are successfully negotiating with all relevant key stakeholders, including City of Casey and Melbourne Water.
We are also working in collaboration with the 3D renderers to ensure the landscape design’s ‘look and feel’ was strongly communicated and provides a striking, highly marketable impression.
To date, the Hansen team has undertaken the landscape master plan and commenced the open space reserve landscape design across the stages, with highly positive client feedback, particularly in relation to the communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
