4 Pines Welcome to Brunswick is a vibrant food truck park and micro-brewery in Frith Street, Brunswick, Melbourne. The Hansen urban planning team were engaged to secure a permit for the food truck park with ancillary bike facility, and additionally, for the onsite micro-brewery to produce beer for consumption on premises.

4 Pines Welcome to Brunswick is an ambitious beer garden, bar and food precinct, with the aim to be the most sustainable pub in Melbourne. The licensed venue now serves food and drinks for up
to 450 patrons indoors and outdoors.

The project considered the existing industrial aesthetic and noise reduction elements. The venue also includes the provision of parking for 82 bikes, along with a sustainable management plan to reduce waste.

The venue has an industrial design characterised by the apparent beer tanks, the use of concrete and copper, street art and sustainability with all organic waste to be turn to compost, reusable plate system or compostable plates only, solar panels, rainwater tanks, and partnership with companies specialised in recycling and waste management in hospitality.
