Lilac Wine, Cremorne

Lilac Wine, a wine bar in Cremorne named after the 1994 Jeff Buckley song, has transformed a former warehouse into a warm and inviting space. With graffitied walls, exposed brick, and industrial charm, it embraces the creative spirit of the neighbourhood.

Our Urban Planning team supported Lilac Wine through the approvals process, helping to address noise concerns, objections, property requirements, and compliance challenges, all without the need for a VCAT hearing.

Beyond its welcoming atmosphere, Lilac Wine donates 10% of its profits to the Common Ground Project, a regenerative farm on the Surf Coast, reflecting its commitment to giving back. With 150 wines to explore and vinyl spinning on the turntables, it’s a space to relax and enjoy.
