211 Sydney Road is a car-free, triple bottom line project that demonstrates thoughtful design and sustainability. Our urban planning support facilitated the partial demolition and construction of a seven-story, mixed-use building with zero car parking, carefully integrating the heritage character of Sydney Road, Brunswick, Melbourne.

The development preserves the low-rise heritage facade of old Brunswick while introducing 21 modern residential spaces. Prioritising sustainability, it features open-air lanes, walkways, and a rooftop terrace to encourage social connection and community.

Designed for a 7.5-star NatHERS rating, it incorporates solar power, water harvesting, and energy-efficient systems. Artisan touches, such as a stained-glass window by Adadaz and hand-blown pendant lights by Mark Douglass merge heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design.
