His experience spans various urban scales and contexts, further enriched by his extensive international work in the Middle East. Alireza’s growth as a professional has been shaped by his academic studies, practical project involvement, and mentorship of design students at the university level.

Owen is an experienced 3D Visualizer and Landscape Architect with over 10 years of practical expertise. He’s worked on a variety of 3D rendering projects, including both commercial and residential buildings, as well as public and private spaces. His contributions have helped shape various design projects across South Eastern Australia and Victoria.

Suhas Vasudeva

Landscape Architect

Suhas has been part of the Hansen team since 2022, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to landscape architecture. Holding a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Suhas blends expertise in exhibition design, interior design, and architecture, contributing a well-rounded perspective to each project.

Passionate about Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD), Suhas is dedicated to creating landscapes that balance functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. His local experience spans a diverse range of projects, including parks, master plans, streetscapes, shopping centres, residential communities, and private landscapes across Melbourne.

Suhas is also a founding member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (AILA) Queer Committee in Victoria, advocating for diversity and inclusion within the landscape architecture profession.

With a holistic design approach and a commitment to sustainability, Suhas delivers thoughtful, impactful outcomes that enhance Melbourne’s urban landscape.

Adam Styzinski

Urban Design Assistant

Adam is an Urban Design Assistant with a qualification in Built Environment Studies, which he completed at Breda University of Applied Science in the Netherlands. Drawing on first-hand experience living in some of Europe’s best-designed urban environments, Adam brings a sensitivity to the relationship between design, mobility, and the public realm.

At Hansen Partnership, Adam supports the Urban Design team through the preparation of design documentation, analysis, mapping, and diagrammatic content, informed by his background in urban design, spatial planning, and transport studies.

Nhi Lam

Urban Designer

Nhi joined Hansen Partnership in 2024 as an Urban Designer, bringing a strong background in both architecture and urban planning. She holds a Master of Architecture (2014) and a Master of Urban Planning and Environment (2021), combining these disciplines to approach urban design with a well-rounded perspective.

With six years of experience in furniture design and procurement, Nhi brings a practical, user-focused approach to every project.

At Hansen, Nhi works closely with the Urban Design and Strategic Planning teams, helping with urban design evidence, design documentation, urban context reports, visual impact assessments, and structure plans. Her work contributes to creating well-designed, sustainable urban spaces in Melbourne.

Charlie Zheng

Landscape Architect

With over four years of international experience in landscape architecture, Charlie specialises in urban renewal, energy projects, and site remediation. With a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from RMIT University, Melbourne, Charlie joined the Hansen team in 2023, fueled by a passion for sustainable outdoor spaces.

Charlie merges art and landscape design to create visually appealing, eco-friendly urban landscapes. His strengths lie in transforming urban environments into revitalised, energy-efficient spaces, enhancing living conditions.

Having worked on park designs and urban redevelopment, Charlie understands urban development and environmental remediation. He is committed to providing innovative, harmonious solutions for contemporary landscapes, valuing sustainability and blending aesthetics with functionality.

Matilda Jenkins

Urban Planner

Matilda is an Urban Planner at Hansen Partnership, having recently completed her Master of Urban Planning and Environment at RMIT.

With over five years of experience in the arts and cultural sector, particularly working with public and not-for-profit organisations, Matilda made the transition into urban planning to explore her passion for cities and the way communities live and interact.

She is drawn to urban planning’s multidisciplinary approach and is particularly interested in how it can support community wellbeing and create sustainable, thriving environments. Matilda is dedicated to bringing her diverse background and fresh perspective to urban planning projects across Melbourne, contributing to the development of spaces that enhance quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
