Gerhana Waty joins the MAPP Committee as Head of Impact
A proud moment for us at Hansen, with Director Gerhana Waty joining the Multicultural Association of Property Professionals (MAPP) Committee as Head of Impact.
Born in Indonesia, educated in Singapore and Australia, and now based in Melbourne, Gerhana brings both professional expertise and lived experience to conversations around culture, belonging and who our cities are designed for.
Greater cultural diversity in the built environment starts with creating space for different perspectives to shape the industry, not simply be represented within it.
At Hansen, we believe better places come from understanding the diversity of people and communities we design for. We value an inclusive profession, the exchange of different perspectives, and contributing beyond our day-to-day project work where we can help create meaningful change.
Gerhana’s appointment strongly aligns with those values. In her new role, she will help MAPP translate conversations around diversity and belonging into meaningful action, connecting diverse lived experiences with industry leadership and helping turn shared values into tangible outcomes for the profession, the places we shape and the communities we serve.
We’re proud to support Gerhana in contributing her time and expertise to this important work.
