Major Planning Milestone for Nightingale Sheppard
Great news out of Merri-bek, Nightingale Sheppard has secured Council approval via a planning permit.
This is Nightingale Housing’s first collection of sustainable terrace homes – a horizontal community of 72 residences in Coburg North delivered in partnership with Women’s Property Initiatives (WPI).
It’s a development where the industrial built form will make way for landscape rehabilitation, all housing is designed with a northern aspect, communal amenity is prioritised, and cycling and other sustainable transport alternatives are preferred over a traditional car-based approach to housing delivery.
We’re proud to contribute to a project that redefines medium-density living through gentle density and landscape generosity and to continue supporting Nightingale Housing in delivering homes for the people who matter most.
