Hansen’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan Formally Endorsed
We are proud to share that our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, following a year of thoughtful development.
As landscape architects, planners, and urban designers working on, with and for Country, we have a responsibility to shape spaces that reflect and honour the diverse histories, cultures and values of Country. This Plan is a step toward deepening our understanding of Country and building relationships with First Nations peoples, community and allied practitioners so that we may begin to shift our preconceived ideas and adapt new practice methodologies.
Our commitment to this journey is ongoing. We recognise that it may not be linear, and we may need to adjust our approach as our understanding grows. We commit to deeper listening, reflection, knowledge building and paying respect to Australia’s rich living cultural heritage and First Nations peoples.
