Hansen Partnership is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights in relation to that information.

Your rights under the APPs always apply. If there is any inconsistency between this policy and the APPs, the APPs will prevail. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hansen Partnership.

  • secure cloud-based systems operated through Microsoft 365, with data primarily hosted in Australia;
  • Microsoft 365 email systems and communications;
  • third-party business systems used for marketing, communications, project management, finance and operations, including Deltek, which may store data in Australia or overseas; and
  • physical records, including printed documents, drawings, contracts and correspondence, stored securely at our premises or other secure storage facilities.

 
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, in both electronic and physical form. Where we disclose personal information to overseas service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate privacy and security measures are maintained in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Where third-party service providers handle your information on our behalf, we require them to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles where applicable.

When we no longer need your information for any purpose, and we are not legally required to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

While we take reasonable steps to protect information transmitted through our website, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Marketing Communications
