Sitting at the back of a traditional house block in Brunswick and at the intersection of 2 laneways and at just 91m2, Hansen Partnership secured planning approval on this small block for a new stand alone dwelling.
Working with Harrison and White Urban Design and Architecture, we found room for a double storey, 2-bedroom house, with an accessible roof terrace and courtyard garden, with space for a car park.
This is a smart way to deliver housing on an allotment smaller than some metro apartments, and a reminder that good things can come in small packages.
