Lilac Wine, Cremorne

Opening their doors to the public earlier this year, Lilac Wine has transformed a former warehouse space in Cremorne into a wine bar whose name pays homage to the 1994 Jeff Buckley song.

Lilac Wine has developed in a space that perfectly combines twin turntables, good vibes, and industrial warmth. Its graffitied exterior walls and exposed brick interior are honest elements that respect the creative context of the neighbourhood.

We are grateful for the trust and support of the Lilac Wine team in engaging our Urban Planning team to help navigate challenges such as noise, objections, property law, operating, and regulatory compliance, to close out the approvals process without heading off to VCAT.

We especially love and respect the work they do and note that 10% of all profits from Lilac Wine go towards the regenerative agricultural farm, Common Ground Project in Freshwater Creek on the Surf Coast.

Our team can’t wait to sample from the 150 wines on offer and settle in to listen to whatever vinyl may happen to be playing.
