Hansen Partnership is pleased to confirm planning approval for the latest design works associated with the Four Pillars Distillery in Healesville.

The copper veil designed by Breathe Architecture, is both a sculptural and functional addition to the venue. It will assist to manage the treatment and cooling of water from the distillery along with helping with the irrigation of new landscaping and fencing of the property. The design has been influenced by the rolling hills of the Yarra Ranges along with the traditional warehouse typology of the site.

Bespoke solutions are often hard to garner support, especially within non-urban areas. Our planning team were able to assist the project architects, to find Council champions within the areas of economic development, town planning and sustainability who appreciated the tourism and broader benefits of creating a regional destination onsite. This strategy proved critical to obtain Council support for the project.
