Montague Master Plan, Lysterfield

Hansen’s planning and landscape teams, in association with Mantric Architecture, developed a master plan for Montague Fresh’s site in Lysterfield. Montague operates orchards and food handling facilities throughout Australia employing around 300 full time employees and generating forecast revenue in excess of $180 million.

In recent years, Montague has expanded their operations and required additional facilities to accommodate this. The project group worked with Montague to plan for the largest fruit packing and distribution facility in the southern hemisphere and a community engagement facility to diversify their commercial offering. This involved the preparation and management of all associated planning application documents, the preparation of a master plan and community engagement sessions prior to lodgement of a planning permit application.
